Sea Search

Sea Search, a People & Parks Foundation Marine Connections program, engages community based volunteers in monitoring marine protected areas (MPA’s) within Victoria.  Volunteers are educated on how to best protect their local MPA and are taught scientific skills in identifying the animals and plants found within these marine environments. Data collected by Sea Search volunteers is used as a great resource by Parks Victoria and other management authorities, so they can more effectively manage and protect our marine and coastal areas.
