2011 NSW Landcare and Catchment Management Forum

The 2011 NSW Landcare and Catchment Management Forum will be held in the progressive regional centre of Parkes, well known for its diversity in industry and agriculture as well as for the adoption of sustainable natural resource management practices.

The forum will address a variety of environmental issues facing landholders, government and industry proponents, education institutions and urban communities. It represents a must attend for practitioners across all of these sectors and will provide a forum for extensive interaction.

The forum will offer presentations, field trips, discussions and case studies with the aim of building knowledge and partnerships in the Landcare and Catchment Management community and to create a way forward.

The theme ‘Thinking Differently’ will underpin conference sessions, highlighting the fact that the natural resource management world is changing and the time for action is now.
