Funding Available: Hunter-Central Rivers CMA seeking projects
to deliver specific outputs under the Caring for Our Country funding program.
Projects will engage the community in coastal conservation and rehabilitation projects involving;
- Littoral Rainforest and Coastal Vine Thickets managed to reduce critical threats to biodiversity and enhance their condition, connectivity and resilience.
- Reducing the impacts of WoNS (Weeds of National Significance), primarily bitou bush and lantana.
The CMA has $145,000 available and is inviting projects of between $20,000 and $50,000.
