Issue 49, Winter, 2010: Bushfire Recovery Feature

This issue looks at how Landcare groups have contributed to the recovery of bushfire affected communities and landscapes. in changing times. This issue is longer than usual due to the avalanche of stories groups submitted by groups from all around the state. Some stories tell of the vital role Landcare plays in supporting community resilience and connections, others take a practical look at what groups are doing to protect their land from erosion and invasive species in the wake of fires. Also included is an interview with Minister Jennings on his involvement with Landcare and bushfire recovery, and a tribute to the late Peter Huthwaite, Landcare legend.
