Engaging Corporates

Corporate engagement is an important activity for many organisations working in the Landcare sector. It can involve a range of activities and a range of business relationships depending on the groups involved and their organisational objectives. This guide has been written as a resource for all organisations involved in the Landcare sector (i.e. farmers, Landcare groups and networks, NRM authorities, various levels of government and the not-for-profit sector) who are interested in engaging with corporates. This resource will give some background to the development of corporate engagement in Australia and then highlight the role corporates have played in the Landcare sector. It will describe the steps needed to get you started in the field of corporate engagement and how to build and then maintain corporate partnerships. It will conclude with a new way forward to strengthen corporate engagement opportunities for all groups involved in the Landcare sector.
